Jaipur Launches Midnight Clean Sweep in Walled City

The Jaipur Municipal Corporation (JMC) launched 'Operation Clean Sweep' in the Walled City on Saturday, commencing at midnight and continuing until 5 am. The cleaning drive covered main roads, bustling markets, and narrow lanes in the heritage area, aiming to enhance the city's sanitation standards.

Massive Participation in the Cleanliness Drive

According to JMC officials, approximately 2,000 sanitation workers were deployed for the campaign. The Walled City was divided into 36 beats, with dedicated teams assigned to each zone for cleaning and waste collection. The operation was meticulously planned to ensure thorough coverage of all areas.

Senior Officials Oversee the Operation

JMC Commissioner Om Kasera and Jaipur Collector Sandesh Nayak visited various locations during the night to review the arrangements and monitor the progress. Their presence underscored the administration's commitment to the initiative.
