In a significant show of solidarity ahead of the introduction of the 'Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam' (Women's Empowerment Bill) in the Lok Sabha, Kanpur witnessed a powerful display of women's activism on Wednesday. Mayor Pramila Pandey spearheaded a vibrant vehicle rally that commenced from the Municipal Corporation Guest House and concluded at Maharishi Valmiki Upvan, drawing enthusiastic participation from women across the city.
Mayor Pandey Hails Modi Government's Progressive Initiative
Addressing the gathered women, Mayor Pramila Pandey emphasized that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has consistently prioritized women's interests through decisive policy actions.
