KPCC office-bearer complaint over hateful WhatsApp post

Bengaluru: An office-bearer of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) has filed a complaint against an individual identified as ‘Dore’, accusing him of posting hateful and provocative messages on WhatsApp.

Complainant BN Anand said that Dore posted a message against Virajpet MLA AS Ponnanna on April 29, stating: "Even Ponnanna has two daughters; wait and watch, karma returns." These were the exact words used against the MLA, he said.

"We have a WhatsApp group called Kodagina Samasyegalu (Problems of Kodagu). A participant named Kannigunda Hammi posted certain issues in the group. Responding to Hammi's post, Dore posted the above message," the FIR registered against Dore stated.
