Following the alleged disruption, activists of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) staged a demonstration outside the local police station. They filed a formal complaint against the BJP workers, accusing them of violating the Model Code of Conduct. The TMC has demanded strict action against those responsible for the disturbance.
