Mamata Banerjee Attacks BJP: Fix Delhi and Pahalgam First

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, while campaigning from Bhabanipur, launched a fierce attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), demanding that the Centre first fix Delhi and Pahalgam before criticizing her government. She highlighted her government's focus on inclusive development and communal harmony, describing Bengal as a 'mini India' where all communities coexist peacefully.

Inclusive Development and Communal Harmony

Banerjee claimed that her administration has built institutions across religious and social lines, including temples, educational colleges, hospitals, and community facilities. She defended her government's tax policies, stating that no additional burden has been placed on citizens, while accusing the Centre of collecting GST revenues.

Kolkata's Transformation

She also pointed to Kolkata's transformation into a heritage city in collaboration with UNESCO and assured continued progress and development in the state. Banerjee's remarks come amid heightened political tensions ahead of the upcoming elections.
