Vinod Muluk, a prominent NCP functionary and vice-president of the Beed Municipal Council, expressed the collective anguish felt by residents. "A pall of gloom has descended over both urban and rural areas due to Pawar's untimely demise," he stated. Muluk highlighted how Pawar had transformed perceptions after becoming the guardian minister of Beed. "Residents started considering him a messiah. The pace at which he undertook different development works within just a year is unimaginable. Taking forward his vision of development will be the apt tribute to our beloved Dada," he emphasized.

Shivaji Patil, president of the Hotels' Association from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, described Pawar's death as an irreparable loss for Maharashtra.
