A shocking incident of corporal punishment has come to light in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, where a teacher at a private school allegedly subjected two young students to severe physical and mental abuse. The teacher, identified as Surendra Kumar, was reportedly displeased with the answers given by two cousins studying in Class 2 and Class 3 at Brajdham Public School in the Govardhan police station area.
Details of the Incident
According to the complaint filed by the children's parents, the incident occurred on May 15. The teacher made the two boys, aged 9 and 10, remove their shirts and stand in the sun. They were then forced to squat in the rooster pose, a humiliating position, and were beaten with a plastic pipe. Further adding to the humiliation, the students were paraded around the school premises in front of other teachers and students.
