Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva on Friday said that May 26 marks the foundation of a service-oriented government, as Prime Minister Narendra Modi took oath for the second term on this day in 2019. Addressing a press conference, Sachdeva highlighted the achievements of the Modi government over the past four years, emphasizing its focus on public service and development.
Service-Oriented Governance
Sachdeva stated that the Modi government has always worked with the motto of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas'. He said that the government has implemented several welfare schemes for the poor, farmers, women, and youth. The BJP leader also praised the government's handling of the COVID-19 pandemic and the rollout of the world's largest vaccination drive.
Development Agenda
The Delhi BJP chief further said that the government has undertaken several infrastructure projects, including the construction of highways, railways, and airports. He also mentioned the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir and the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya as landmark decisions.
Sachdeva criticized the opposition parties for spreading negativity and misleading the public. He urged the people to support the Modi government's vision for a developed India. The press conference was attended by several senior BJP leaders, who echoed Sachdeva's views on the government's achievements.
On the occasion, BJP workers celebrated the day by organizing events across Delhi, highlighting the government's pro-people policies. Sachdeva concluded by saying that the Modi government will continue to work for the welfare of the people and take the country to new heights of progress.
