Modi's 12 Years as PM Celebrated in Varanasi

Varanasi: Supporters of Prime Minister Narendra Modi organized a series of events on Wednesday to commemorate the completion of his 12 years as Prime Minister in his Lok Sabha constituency, Varanasi. The day-long celebrations featured outreach activities, religious rituals, and cleanliness drives across the city, underscoring Modi's long-standing association with the constituency.

Outreach and Religious Rituals by BJP Leaders

BJP state president and Union minister Pankaj Chaudhary began the day with a visit to Kashi Anathalaya in the Lahurabir area. He interacted with inmates and distributed fruits, sweets, clothes, and other essential items. Party functionaries described this as part of the service-oriented celebrations held across the district to highlight Modi's representation of Varanasi in Parliament.

In the evening, Chaudhary performed Rudrabhishek rituals at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple under the supervision of priests and scholars. He then led a group of BJP public representatives and workers to the Ganga Dwar of Kashi Vishwanath Dham and proceeded to Lalita Ghat for Deepdaan on the Ganga.
