Bhopal: Chief Minister Mohan Yadav participated in the 11th NITI Aayog governing council meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Thursday. He highlighted Madhya Pradesh's key initiatives for development and welfare of all sections of society.
Key Initiatives Presented
Yadav informed the council that the state has completed groundwork for river-linking projects. Through PM Sri Colleges, young people can access diverse academic disciplines. Skill development and industrialisation efforts have been intensified. He highlighted the country's first PM MITRA Park established in Dhar district, where industrial units are expected to commence operations in record time.
Viksit Bharat @2047 Vision
Following the meeting, Yadav said extensive deliberations occurred on the 'Viksit Bharat @2047' vision, focusing on strengthening Centre-State partnership and coordinated development efforts. He stated that Madhya Pradesh actively contributes to nation-building with a commitment to good governance, inclusive development, innovation, and public welfare.
Thematic Focus Areas
The meeting focused on foundational human capital, productive employment, health, nutrition, and equity themes. Deliberations included measures to promote entrepreneurship, strengthen skill development, and create sustainable employment opportunities across the country, an official spokesperson said.
