Andhra CM Naidu Directs Ministers to Intensify Outreach, Counter Opposition Propaganda
Naidu Asks Ministers to Intensify Outreach, Counter Opposition

Vijayawada: Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has directed all cabinet ministers to intensify their outreach programmes and take the achievements of the NDA government to the people across the state. Chairing the cabinet meeting on Thursday, Naidu asked ministers to undertake extensive district tours and explain the reforms, welfare initiatives and development programmes implemented during the last two years.

Ministers to Submit Reports by June 28

The chief minister instructed ministers to submit a comprehensive report on their district visits by June 28, detailing public interactions, feedback received, and measures taken to address local issues. He stressed the need for continuous engagement with people to ensure that the benefits of government programmes are effectively communicated at the grassroots level.

Countering Misinformation Campaign

Naidu observed that the opposition was deliberately spreading misinformation and attempting to create a false narrative against the government. He said an effective public campaign was required to counter such propaganda and present facts before the people. “The people should know what this government has achieved in a short span. Andhra Pradesh has regained investor confidence and attracted major investments across sectors. Industrial projects, data centres, green energy initiatives, and infrastructure works are advancing rapidly. Welfare pensions have been streamlined, public services have become more transparent, and governance has been strengthened through technology-driven initiatives,” Naidu told the ministers.

Revival of Economic Activity and Key Projects

The chief minister said the state had successfully revived economic activity, accelerated capital city Amaravati and Polavaram works, ports and industrial corridors and restored confidence among entrepreneurs and investors. He noted that the government was focusing equally on wealth creation and welfare, ensuring sustainable development while protecting the interests of farmers, women, youth and weaker sections.

Progress in Education and Employment

Naidu also highlighted the progress achieved in education, skill development and employment generation initiatives. He urged ministers to explain how the government was working to transform Andhra Pradesh into a hub for investments, manufacturing, technology and services. He said that the opposition YSRCP tried to create controversy about teachers’ recruitment (DSC) with false allegations but made a retreat after the strong rebuttal by the government. He explained that the NDA government had filled up nearly 16,000 teacher posts in a transparent manner, while YSRCP could not fill even a single post during its five-year rule.

Coordinated Effort to Engage Public

Calling for a coordinated effort, Naidu asked ministers to actively engage with the public, local representatives and party cadres during their tours and effectively communicate the government’s achievements while exposing the opposition’s misinformation campaign.
