Naidu Hails Modi as India's Anchor and Innovator at NDA Meet

Vijayawada: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu showered praise on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, describing him as India's “anchor and innovator.” Naidu remarked that the Prime Minister consistently exceeds public expectations through his unwavering commitment, boundless energy, and visionary approach.

Addressing the NDA parliamentary party meeting in New Delhi on Wednesday, where a resolution of gratitude was adopted to commemorate Modi completing 12 years in office and becoming India's longest-serving elected prime minister, Naidu asserted that Modi is the “right leader, at the right time and at the right place.”

“It is a great honour to table before this august gathering a resolution of gratitude, a historic tribute to India’s longest-serving continuously elected prime minister Narendra Modi,” Naidu said. Praising Modi’s governance style, Naidu highlighted that the PM’s greatest strength lies in his ability to combine stability with innovation. “The greatest strength is that PM serves as both our anchor and our innovator. He works with a single agenda—nation first, a principle that all of us must constantly keep in mind,” he added.

Reflecting on Modi’s extensive public service journey, Naidu noted that the Prime Minister was first elected as Chief Minister in 2001 and has now completed nearly 25 years in public life. “Sometimes I introspect and ask myself: How is he able to consistently live up to the expectations of the people? That is the hallmark of his leadership,” Naidu said.

Naidu emphasised that India has successfully navigated numerous challenges, including wars, supply chain disruptions, volatile energy markets, and slowing economies. “Today, the world is in turmoil. Wars, fractured supply chains, volatile energy markets, slowing major economies, and uncertainty across continents have created enormous challenges. Yet inflation in India has remained around 3.5 percent, among the lowest among major economies. That reflects the leadership being provided by our Prime Minister,” he stated.

Naidu further noted that India’s growing global stature has boosted the confidence of Indians worldwide. Expressing optimism about India’s future, he said the country’s goal of becoming the world’s number one economy can be achieved under Modi’s guidance. “Our goal is to become the world’s number one economy. That aspiration can be realised under the leadership of Narendra Modi ji, and I am confident that day will come,” he asserted.

Naidu concluded by saying that India is entering a new era of growth and development. “This is India’s defining moment. It is the beginning of a golden era. Our faith in his leadership is complete, our commitment to the people is unwavering, and our resolve to build a Viksit Bharat by 2047 is unshakeable,” he declared.
