New Railways Trains in UP from June 19

LUCKNOW: In a relief for rail passengers in eastern Uttar Pradesh, Indian Railways will introduce multiple new train operations from June 19 following the request of Uttar Pradesh Energy Minister Arvind Kumar Sharma. The move is aimed at improving connectivity across the Purvanchal region and providing better travel options for commuters.

Among the key announcements is the extension of the newly introduced Dohrighat-Aunrihar MEMU train up to Varanasi City, enhancing local rail connectivity between eastern districts and the region's major urban centre. In addition, the Mau-Anand Vihar (Delhi) train will begin regular operations from Mau, offering passengers a direct and reliable link to the national capital.

Railways will also introduce a new Chhapra-Anand Vihar train via Mau, creating another important connection between eastern Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Delhi. The new services are expected to benefit daily commuters, students, traders and long-distance travellers.
