Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera said, "While the Prime Minister speaks of resolve, his government's diplomatic failures have only emboldened terrorist outfits. The Pahalgam attack could have been prevented with stronger international pressure on Pakistan."
Khera also questioned the effectiveness of Modi's outreach to global powers, alleging that India's stance on terrorism has not translated into concrete action. "The world talks, but India acts alone. We need a foreign policy that isolates Pakistan, not one that gives it room to maneuver," he stated.

The Ministry of Home Affairs deployed additional paramilitary forces and implemented stricter background checks for visitors.
