Hyderabad: Union minister G Kishan Reddy on Thursday announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch development programs worth approximately Rs 7,823 crore during his visit to the state on May 10. This will be Modi's first visit to Hyderabad after assuming office as Prime Minister for the third time.
Projects to be dedicated
Speaking at a press conference at the BJP's state office in the city, Kishan Reddy stated that several projects will be dedicated to the people of Telangana. The central government is prioritizing the development of national highways in the state, with multiple projects already underway. Efforts will be made to secure approval for more projects in an upcoming meeting in Delhi.
Railway sector initiatives
Kishan Reddy further added that projects worth approximately Rs 85,000 crore are underway in Telangana in the railway sector. These initiatives aim to boost connectivity and infrastructure across the region.
BJP's growth in Telangana
The Union minister highlighted the significant increase in vote percentage across the state, attributing it to the people's confidence in Modi's leadership. He noted that the BJP has strengthened from the village to the district level post-elections. Approximately 4 million new members have joined the party, reflecting its growing influence in Telangana.
