Following the jubilee celebration, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate, lay foundation stones, and flag off multiple developmental projects with a total value of approximately Rs 10,800 crore in Ernakulam. These projects span crucial sectors including energy, national highways, rural infrastructure, and railways, demonstrating a comprehensive approach to regional development.

Highway Expansion Projects: The Prime Minister will inaugurate two major highway projects designed to improve connectivity and reduce travel time:

  • Six-laning of the Thalapady-Chengala section of National Highway 66
  • Six-laning of the Kozhikode bypass from Vengalam to Ramanattukara
