The founder of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), Abhijeet Dipke, has issued a strong ultimatum to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, demanding a choice between the welfare of students and the continuation of Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan in the cabinet. Speaking at a press conference, Dipke accused Pradhan of incompetence and called for his immediate resignation.
Protest Plans Announced
Dipke declared, “We will all go to Delhi on June 20 and camp there till the time Dharmendra Pradhan resigns.” He further stated that the CJP would not back down until the minister is removed from his post. The protest is expected to draw supporters from across the country, with the aim of pressuring the government to act on what Dipke described as the minister's failure to address key educational issues.
Background of the Controversy
Dharmendra Pradhan, who holds the portfolio of Education Minister, has been facing criticism over alleged mismanagement in the education sector. Dipke specifically highlighted concerns regarding student welfare and policy implementation, blaming Pradhan for what he termed as a lack of vision and efficiency. The CJP founder emphasized that the prime minister must prioritize the nation's students over an incompetent minister.
The call for Pradhan's resignation comes amid growing discontent among student groups and opposition parties. Dipke's party, known for its satirical approach to politics, has often taken strong stances on governance issues. The planned protest in Delhi is expected to be a significant event, with the CJP mobilizing its members and allies to demand accountability.
As the June 20 deadline approaches, all eyes will be on the government's response. Dipke warned that if the demand is not met, the protests would intensify, potentially disrupting normal life in the capital. The CJP founder remains firm in his resolve, stating that the protest will continue indefinitely until Pradhan steps down.
