Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has strongly refuted the claim made by Tamil Nadu Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin that the Congress party was instrumental in the Bharatiya Janata Party's recent electoral victories. Speaking to the media, Pradhan asserted that such assertions are baseless and reflect a misunderstanding of the democratic process.
Pradhan said, 'Rahul Gandhi thinks this is his 'zamindari' or his 'jagir' to run this country. Unfortunately for him, the people of the country decided something else in the recent election.' He emphasized that the BJP's success was due to its development agenda and the trust of the people, not any external factor.
The minister's remarks came in response to Udhayanidhi Stalin's statement that the Congress party had inadvertently helped the BJP by splitting the opposition vote. Pradhan dismissed this as an attempt to deflect attention from the Congress party's own failures.
