A special 'ardas' (prayer) ceremony was conducted at Gurdwara Sadar in Lucknow to commemorate the completion of 12 years of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led government at the Centre. The event was organized jointly by the Lucknow Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee (LGPC) and the All-India Sikh Punjabi Welfare Council. Devotees offered prayers for national progress, prosperity, unity, and sustained development under the current administration.

Community leaders highlight achievements

Harpal Singh Jaggi, the acting president of LGPC, attributed significant advancements in infrastructure, national security, and India's global standing to the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He noted that the government's policies have fostered a conducive environment for growth and stability. Rajendra Singh Bagga, president of the LGPC, emphasized that initiatives recognizing Sikh history and the teachings of the Gurus have bolstered community confidence and integration. The event underscored the collective hope for continued progress and harmony in the nation.
