Federal court records reveal that Justin Salsburey, aged 43, and his wife Ruthann Salsburey, 38, are facing multiple counts in an Ohio court. The charges against them include conspiracy to distribute and possess significant quantities of fentanyl and methamphetamine. Justin Salsburey was employed by ARK Protection, the private security firm contracted to provide Ramaswamy's personal security detail.
Investigators allege the couple used their residence as a hub for receiving large shipments of narcotics. The probe began after the Logan County Sheriff’s Office provided information about suspected drug activity. An examination of records showed that approximately 261 parcels had been delivered to the Salsbureys' home from various locations across the United States.

According to the criminal complaint, law enforcement discovered that some of these packages contained illicit substances. This included blue pills that tested positive for the powerful synthetic opioid fentanyl and were consistent with counterfeit OxyContin. Authorities also reportedly seized more than 4,000 grams of methamphetamine.
The affidavit filed in court states that investigators used GPS tracking to monitor Salsburey and observed both him and his wife handling packages. Notably, the complaint cautioned law enforcement to exercise caution during any approach, noting that Salsburey, due to his security background, was likely to own firearms.
In a surprising twist, it was revealed that ARK Protection had conducted standard background checks on Salsburey, including FBI and state-level reviews. The firm stated he had never failed a drug screening during his employment.
