Red Fort Blast: India's Resolve Against Terrorism
Union Home Minister Amit Shah delivered a strong message on Thursday, November 14, 2025, promising that the perpetrators behind the November 10 car bomb explosion near Delhi's historic Red Fort would face severe legal consequences. Speaking via virtual mode from Ahmedabad, Shah emphasized that the punishment would serve as a deterrent to prevent future terror incidents in the country.
Global Recognition of India's Anti-Terror Efforts
The Home Minister highlighted that the entire world has acknowledged India's fight against terrorism over the past 11 years under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership. "The entire world has accepted India's fight against terrorism in the last 11 years under the leadership of Narendrabhai," Shah stated in his address delivered in Gujarati.
He further noted that Prime Minister Modi's name ranks among leading global leaders in the international fight against terrorism, reflecting the international community's confidence in India's approach to combating security threats.
Commitment to Justice and Security
Shah, who also serves as the Union Minister of Cooperation, was addressing attendees at a Dudhsagar Dairy function in Mehsana, north Gujarat. The event marked the inauguration of the Motibhai Chaudhary Sagar Sainik School and an organic processing plant.
The Home Minister paid tribute to those killed in the Red Fort incident and assured the nation of the government's determination to bring all involved parties to justice. "The Government of India and the Home Ministry are determined to ensure that those who committed this cowardly act and those behind them are punished in courts of law," he affirmed.
Shah had originally planned to attend the Mehsana function in person but changed his schedule due to the terror incident, underscoring the seriousness with which the government is treating the security breach.
Gujarat's Dairy Development Model
During his address, Shah also discussed the significance of Gujarat's dairy cooperatives, particularly highlighting Dudhsagar Dairy's contribution to the White Revolution. He praised both Dudhsagar Dairy and Banas Dairy of Banaskantha for creating an exemplary model that has transformed the dairy economy.
The Home Minister announced plans to host 50 Members of Parliament in Banaskantha next month to explain the successful Gujarat dairy model. This initiative aims to replicate the state's cooperative success nationwide.
Shah outlined several government initiatives focused on creating a circular economy in animal husbandry, including:
- Establishment of 75,000 new primary dairy committees in villages
- Strengthening existing 46,000 dairy committees
- Formation of multi-state cooperative committees for cattle feed production, vaccine manufacturing, and artificial insemination
- Development of dung management models
- Utilization of remains from deceased cattle to benefit farmers and cattle rearers
The government aims to ensure that 50% of the country's milk reaches consumers through cooperative committees, potentially generating significant benefits for cattle rearers across India.
The event was attended by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Agriculture and Cooperation Minister Jitu Vaghani, and top officials from Dudhsagar Dairy, reflecting the importance of both dairy development and national security in the government's agenda.
