The Students Federation of India (SFI) has opposed the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) centenary event scheduled at Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) and demanded the withdrawal of permission granted for the program. Atikur Rehman, a JMI student and SFI member, stated that a series of events have been organized at various Delhi University colleges to mark 100 years of the RSS. The SFI argues that such events are not appropriate on a university campus and could disrupt the academic environment. The organization has called upon the university administration to revoke the permission, citing concerns over the politicization of the campus. The RSS centenary celebrations have been a topic of debate across educational institutions in the national capital.
