Suspended TMC Leader Riju Dutta Accuses I-PAC of Capturing Party

Suspended Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Riju Dutta has launched a sharp attack on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee, alleging that political consultancy firm I-PAC had “captured” the party from within. Speaking in Kolkata, Dutta claimed that the party leadership must take responsibility for allowing an “outsider organisation” to gain influence over TMC affairs.

Allegations Against Mamata Banerjee

Dutta further alleged that during Enforcement Directorate (ED) raids on TMC leaders, Mamata Banerjee acted quickly to secure party-related data. He also referred to an ED case involving the Chief Minister currently before the Supreme Court, claiming that an adverse verdict could lead to legal trouble for her.

Question on Bail Timing

The suspended TMC leader additionally questioned the timing of bail granted to I-PAC director Vinesh Chandel after the second phase of polling, alleging that the case appeared to be “staged.” His remarks have intensified the political controversy surrounding TMC and I-PAC ahead of the ongoing political battle in West Bengal.
