In his address, he made a significant pledge, stating, "My first signature after victory will be on the file issuing Rs 8,000 worth coupons for women to purchase essential household items." This promise aims to bolster support among female voters by addressing economic needs directly.

AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami concluded his extensive tour in Salem, where he urged voters to "write the last chapter of dynastic politics."
