Incident details
The landslide occurred in a residential area of Pune after incessant rainfall loosened soil on a hillside, burying a house under debris. Rescue workers recovered two bodies from the rubble. In a separate incident, one person was swept away by floodwaters in the same region.
Rescue operations
NDRF teams, along with local police and community volunteers, are conducting search operations for any additional victims. The efforts are focused on clearing debris and ensuring no further casualties.
