Mangaluru: Vice-President of India CP Radhakrishnan visited Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala on Sunday and offered prayers to Lord Manjunatha Swamy. Dressed in traditional attire, he performed a special puja at the temple and also visited the Annapoorna Chathra, where he praised the arrangements and various activities undertaken for the devotees.
Meeting with Dharmadhikari
During his visit, the Vice-President met Dharmadhikari and Rajya Sabha member D Veerendra Heggade along with his family. Despite the tight security arrangements, Radhakrishnan took time to interact with devotees who were waiting for darshan.

Among those accompanying the Vice-President during the visit were Karnataka Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot, Dakshina Kannada MP Captain Brijesh Chowta, and other dignitaries.
Beyond the official engagements, Radhakrishnan's simplicity and humility left a lasting impression on devotees and visitors at the temple town. His interaction with the common people showcased his down-to-earth nature, which was widely appreciated by all present.
