Yogi Adityanath Declares 'Game Over' for TMC in West Bengal, Calls for Sanatan Revival
Yogi: 'Game Over' for TMC, Bengal Must Embrace Sanatan Identity

Yogi Adityanath Predicts End of TMC Era in West Bengal, Urges Return to Sanatan Roots

In a series of fiery campaign speeches across West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath delivered a stark message to the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC), declaring it was "game over" for the party and its leader Mamata Banerjee. Addressing large gatherings in Kolkata, Nadia, and Howrah on Wednesday, Adityanath asserted that the state is poised to reclaim its Sanatan identity and embark on a new path of development under BJP leadership.

"Ey Baar Khela Shesh": A Call for Change and Development

"Ey baar khela shesh, unnayan shuru (this time the game is over and development will begin)," proclaimed the UP CM, signaling a direct challenge to the TMC's 15-year rule. He accused the Bengal government of misappropriating funds allocated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for state development, vowing that such practices would cease. Adityanath promised that under BJP governance, religious festivals like Ram Navami and Durga Puja would be celebrated with full fervor, transforming "Aamar Sonar Bangla" into a "TMC-mukt Bangla."

He further emphasized this vision with the phrase, "Ab Ondhokar hatbe, Suraj uthbe, Kamal khilbe (darkness will lift, the sun will rise, the lotus will bloom)," symbolizing hope and the BJP's electoral symbol.

Allegations of Eroding Bengal's Cultural and Linguistic Heritage

Adityanath launched a scathing attack on Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and her nephew, MP Abhishek Banerjee, alleging they aim to erase Bengal's Sanatan identity. He referenced a past statement by Kolkata's mayor about half of Bengal's population potentially speaking Urdu, asserting that the BJP would resist this and ensure Bangla remains the primary language.

Quoting a TMC MP's remark, 'Kaaba in the heart, Madina in the eyes,' Adityanath retorted that it was time to remind the TMC that Bengal has Kali in its heart and Belur Math in its eyes, highlighting the region's deep-rooted Hindu spiritual traditions.

Criticism of TMC's Governance and Economic Mismanagement

The UP CM lamented what he described as the systematic ruin of Bengal by successive opposition regimes. He portrayed the state as a land of immense potential, blessed with fertile soil, abundant resources, talented youth, hardworking farmers, and industrious entrepreneurs. However, he claimed this potential has been squandered.

"The state was first looted by Congress, then the communists and over the past 15 years, by TMC," Adityanath stated. He cited alarming economic data, alleging that in the last decade, over 7,000 large industries and thousands of MSME units have shut down, leading to unemployment for more than 30 lakh youth.

Accusations of Appeasement Politics and Lawlessness

Adityanath accused the TMC of practicing divisive appeasement politics, claiming cow slaughter is rampant and that Mamata Banerjee shows irritation at the name of Lord Ram. He alleged that her administration restricts Durga Puja celebrations, imposes curfews during festivals, and hinders religious processions.

Drawing a parallel with Uttar Pradesh's transformation post-2017, he contrasted the past era of "chaos, riots, curfews, and 'goonda tax'" with the present. "Today such disturbances are no longer possible in UP. Festivals are celebrated freely, and people are living in a new era of Ram Rajya," he said, crediting BJP rule for using bulldozers against mafia elements and repurposing illegal properties for public welfare.

Solidarity with Victims and a Warning to TMC

In Udaynarayanpur, Adityanath met the mother of deceased BJP worker Subodh Jeet, who was allegedly killed by TMC workers. He framed the incident as a catalyst, stating, "TMC goons, by killing Subodh, have created thousands of workers like him." He also recounted overcoming local resistance to hold the rally, demonstrating his resolve.

Concluding with a stern warning, the UP CM declared that after May 4, a countdown would begin for "TMC goons," promising they would receive a "befitting reply." His rallies underscored the BJP's aggressive campaign to unseat the TMC by championing cultural pride, economic revival, and law and order in the politically crucial state of West Bengal.
