Haryana Youth Conference Emphasizes Constitutional Values and National Duty
In a significant initiative to prepare and inspire the next generation for future challenges and governance, an inspirational youth conference titled 'Principles and Features of the Constitution and Functions of the Legislature' was successfully held at Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology (DCRUST) in Murthal, Haryana. Organized under the aegis of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha on Saturday, the event aimed to foster awareness and engagement among young minds regarding democratic processes and civic responsibilities.
Harivansh Calls for Youth Leadership in Nation Building
Rajya Sabha deputy chairperson Harivansh participated as the chief guest at this conference and delivered a powerful address, calling upon the youth to play an active and pivotal role in nation building. He commended Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker Harvinder Kalyan for organizing such impactful programs, which include capacity building schemes for secretariat officers, legislative drafting workshops, conferences for municipal body representatives, media dialogues, and Youth Parliament sessions specifically designed for the youth.
Harivansh highlighted that Haryana is a state brimming with youth power, noting that young individuals from the region have made remarkable achievements at both national and international levels in diverse fields such as sports, agriculture, security, entrepreneurship, and cultural endeavors. Drawing upon the thoughts of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Harivansh stressed the importance of keeping national interest supreme.
