Chief Election Commissioner of India, Gyanesh Kumar, flagged off the youth voter awareness cycle rally titled 'Pedal for Democracy' from the HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala on Friday. The event aimed to motivate young citizens to register as voters, actively participate in elections, and uphold democratic values.
Rally Objectives and Activities
The rally was organized with the primary goal of sensitizing participants about the importance of voter registration, exercising their voting rights, and contributing to the democratic process. Through this initiative, the Election Commission sought to foster a sense of civic responsibility among the youth.
