Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has announced a series of major development initiatives for the Dhar district, including the construction of the Grand Saraswati Lok and the establishment of the Raja Bhoj Research Institute. The announcements were made during the state-level Jal Ganga Samvardhan Abhiyan event held on the occasion of Ganga Dussehra.
Grand Saraswati Lok and Research Institute
The Chief Minister unveiled plans for the Grand Saraswati Lok, a cultural and educational hub aimed at promoting the region's heritage. Additionally, the Raja Bhoj Research Institute will be established to foster academic research and preserve historical knowledge. These projects are expected to boost tourism and create employment opportunities in the region.
Financial Aid for Bhojshala Martyrs' Families
In a significant humanitarian gesture, Dr. Yadav announced a financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh each for the families of three individuals who lost their lives in the Bhojshala incident. The Chief Minister expressed condolences and assured continued support for the affected families.
Development Projects Worth Rs 88.04 Crore
During the event, the Chief Minister gifted Dhar with 12 development works valued at a total of Rs 88.04 crore. These projects encompass infrastructure improvements, including road construction, water supply systems, and public amenities. The initiatives aim to transform Dhar into a model district with all-round development.
Jal Ganga Samvardhan Abhiyan Participation
Dr. Yadav actively participated in the state-level Jal Ganga Samvardhan Abhiyan, performing darshan and poojan-archan of Maa Vagdevi at the historic Bhojshala. The campaign focuses on water conservation and the rejuvenation of rivers, aligning with the government's commitment to environmental sustainability.
Vision for Dhar's Future
The Chief Minister emphasized that these projects mark a fresh wave of development, ensuring all-round growth in and around Dhar. He stated that the government is dedicated to transforming the district into a hub of culture, education, and economic activity.
