DAV Centenary Public School, located on Indri Road in Karnal, recently celebrated its Investiture Ceremony with great enthusiasm and pride. The event marked the formal assumption of responsibilities by the newly elected Student Council for the new academic session. The ceremony commenced with an oath-taking administered by Principal Mamta Pandey, who encouraged the young leaders to serve with sincerity, integrity, and compassion.
New Student Council Leadership
The newly appointed Head Boy, Deepanshu, and Head Girl, Palak, will lead the student council throughout the session. Their leadership is expected to foster a positive and disciplined environment within the school.
House Captains and Vice-Captains
The four houses of the school have also appointed their respective captains and vice-captains. Dayanand House will be led by Captain Yukti and Vice-Captain Gurnoor. Hansraj House has appointed Captain Nayonika and Vice-Captain Aashman. Tagore House selected Captain Hargun and Vice-Captain Kritika, while Vivekananda House appointed Captain Nancy and Vice-Captain Naksh.
Sports Captains
In the realm of sports, Jobanpreet of Class XII (Humanities) and Naman of Class XII (Commerce) were appointed as Sports Captains. They will be responsible for coordinating sports activities and encouraging participation among students.
Club Heads
Several clubs also have new heads. Ridhima of Class XII (Commerce) and Japjeet of Class XI (Science) were selected as Heads of the Language Club. Kirti of Class XII (Humanities) and Megha of Class XI (Commerce) assumed charge as Heads of the Social Club. Yashvi of Class XII (Science) and Rohit of Class XI (Science) were appointed Heads of the STEM Club.
Commitment to School Values
The newly elected student leaders pledged to work towards creating a progressive, disciplined, and student-friendly environment. They also committed to contributing positively to society and the welfare of the institution.
