A tragic road accident on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway claimed the lives of three men from Haryana and left two others injured early Sunday morning. The collision occurred in the Jagti-Karli area of Nagrota at approximately 2:15 am, resulting in extensive damage to the car.

According to officials, the car was traveling on the highway when it collided head-on with a truck. The force of the impact left the vehicle severely mangled. Two of the victims died instantly at the scene, while a third succumbed to injuries later at the Government Medical College and Hospital in Jammu.

Victims Identified

The deceased have been identified as Sikander Saifi, Shakti, and Mohit Verma, all residents of Haryana. The injured, Deepak Verma and Kuldeep Sharma, were admitted to the hospital for treatment. Their condition is reported to be stable.
