Nagpur: An 80-year-old woman lost her life after accidentally falling into a water tank in the parking lot of an apartment at Gandhi Nagar, under the jurisdiction of Ambazari police. Usha Khaparde had gone for her usual morning walk in the apartment's parking lot on Saturday at around 7 am. When she failed to return, a missing person complaint was registered by Ambazari police. Later that evening, at around 10:30 pm, she was spotted unconscious inside the water tank. Fire brigade personnel immediately fished her out and rushed her to a hospital for treatment, where doctors declared her brought dead. On the complaint of an apartment resident, police registered a case of accidental death. Further investigation is underway to ascertain the incident.
