A motorist is being sought by Bengaluru police after allegedly pushing a homemaker into a drain during a parking dispute, resulting in a fractured right hand. The incident occurred near an ice-cream parlour on Platform Road in Sheshadripuram.
Details of the Incident
The complainant, G Chandrahasa, a resident of MC Layout, Vijayanagar, stated that the altercation began while he was parking his car opposite the ice-cream parlour. His vehicle accidentally brushed against a parked two-wheeler, leading to a heated argument with the motorist. During the confrontation, the motorist pushed Chandrahasa's wife, Gangamma R, causing her to fall into a nearby drain.
Injuries and Investigation
Gangamma sustained a fracture in her right hand and was subsequently treated at a local hospital. Police have collected CCTV footage from the scene and are analyzing it to identify the suspect. An officer confirmed that the investigation is ongoing.
This incident highlights the rising tensions over parking in congested urban areas. Authorities urge citizens to resolve disputes amicably and avoid physical confrontations.
