Bhopal Teen Dies by Suicide, Probe Underway

Bhopal: A 17-year-old boy died allegedly by suicide at his residence in Kabitpura under Teela Jamalpura police station limits. No suicide note was discovered at the scene. Police have registered a case of unnatural death and initiated an investigation.

Victim Identified

The deceased has been identified as Rishabh Dhuliya, 17, a resident of Kabitpura. He lived with his family. His father, Ravi Dhuliya, works as a sanitation worker. Rishabh, the eldest among nine siblings, was employed as a laborer.

Sequence of Events

According to police, Rishabh returned home around 1:30 am on the intervening night of Thursday and Friday. After having dinner, he went to an upstairs room where some of his siblings were sleeping. Around 2:30 am, his brother and sister noticed him hanging from a ceiling hook with a rope.

Hearing the children’s cries, the parents rushed upstairs and informed the police. A police team reached the spot, conducted a preliminary investigation, and sent the body for postmortem examination. The body was later handed over to the family.

Investigation Underway

Police are probing the circumstances that led to the incident. No suicide note was found, and further details are awaited.
