A 41-year-old cab driver was discovered dead inside a parked vehicle in front of Ravi Bhavan under Sadar police station limits on Monday afternoon. The deceased has been identified as Roshan Garad, a resident of Mahatma Gandhi Nagar in Hudkeshwar. He was employed with a private taxi company.
Incident Details
According to preliminary information, Roshan had picked up a woman from the airport around 9:30 am and dropped her at the high court. Since the woman had an hour-long work commitment, she asked him to park the car. Finding the regular parking full, he parked the vehicle in front of Ravi Bhavan.
The woman called him around 12:15 pm but received no response. She then contacted the taxi company. Company staff traced the car's location and found Roshan unconscious inside the vehicle with blood oozing from his mouth. The car's AC was still running.
Investigation
The vehicle belongs to Umang Chavda. Initial investigation suggests death due to a possible heart attack. Sadar Police have registered a case of accidental death.
