A beat marshal constable from Kalamboli police station in Navi Mumbai displayed remarkable bravery on Sunday when he rescued a 35-year-old woman from drowning in a pond. The incident occurred around 12:30 pm at the Ganesh immersion pond located in Roadpali.

The woman had jumped into the pond, prompting an immediate SOS call to the police. Upon receiving the distress alert, constable Sagar Mali rushed to the scene. Seeing that the woman was still alive and struggling in the water, he did not hesitate to dive into the pond to save her.

Constable Mali's swift action and courage averted a potential tragedy. The woman was safely pulled out of the water and later handed over to her family after medical assistance. The local community has praised the constable for his heroic deed.
