Students and faculty members of the CT Institute of Architecture and Planning (CTIAP) were honored by Global Sikhs at the Punjab Sewa Summit 2026 for their contribution to a rehabilitation housing project aimed at supporting flood-affected families across Punjab.
Summit Theme and Attendees
Organized by Global Sikhs under the theme “Together We Served. Together We Rebuild. Together We Rise.”, the summit celebrated individuals, organizations, volunteers, donors, and partners whose selfless service has positively impacted communities across the state. The event was attended by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann.
Rehabilitation Initiative Details
As part of the rehabilitation initiative, CT Architecture students, along with faculty members, collaborated with Global Sikhs to develop housing solutions for families affected by floods in Punjab. The project was coordinated by Ritesh, coordinator of CTIAP, who worked closely with students throughout the initiative. Through their architectural expertise, innovative thinking, and commitment to social responsibility, the team contributed to designing housing solutions that support recovery and long-term resilience.
Leadership and Recognition
The initiative was led by Global Sikhs under the leadership of its founder, Amarpreet Singh. Expressing her appreciation, Dr. Shruti H Kapur, Principal of CTIAP, said, “This recognition reflects the commitment, creativity, and compassion demonstrated by our students and faculty. We are proud to see our students applying their architectural knowledge to address real-world challenges and contribute meaningfully to society.”
