A tragic road accident in Hazaribag claimed the lives of five family members, including two women and two minor girls, on Saturday. The incident occurred in Danuwa valley on the GT Road when the car they were traveling in crashed into a trailer from behind, and a speeding truck subsequently rammed into the four-wheeler.
Severe Impact of the Collision
The force of the collision was devastating, mangling the car beyond recognition. All five occupants died instantly on the spot. According to preliminary information, the victims were traveling from Dhanbad to Bihar. The identities of the deceased, including a man, have not yet been confirmed.
Drivers Flee Scene
Both drivers of the heavy vehicles involved in the accident fled the scene immediately after the crash. A team from Chouparan police station, along with NHAI personnel, rushed to the spot for rescue operations.
Police Investigation Underway
Barhi SDPO Ajit Kumar Vimal stated that police have launched a search for the absconding drivers. Further investigations are ongoing to determine the exact cause of the accident and identify the victims.
