Patna: As many as 706 achievers were felicitated by Alliance Club, a division of Career Planner, during the 17th Bihar Yuva Samman Mahotsav-2026 held at A N College auditorium in Patna on Saturday. The event recognized their success in securing positions in PSU banks, government ministries, Indian Railways, and Bihar Police, among others.
Chief Mentor's Address
Chief mentor Bhupesh Kumar said, “Every year, one day is dedicated to the children who have accomplished great heights.” Referring to those unable to attend, he said, “Several who could not attend right now because of various training programmes have joined us virtually for the celebration.” Emphasizing perseverance, he added, “The strategy for kids is to maintain patience and keep on with the hard work, don't be deterred by failure.”
Alliance Club's Role
Co-founder and mentor Kumar Munna said, “Alliance Club is a training and mentorship programme which is a subset of Career Planner and is a CSR activity where a section of students are selected on the basis of repeated tests and then enrolled in the Alliance Club, which runs free of cost so that it can be accessible and affordable for all sectors of society.” He added, “More than 20,000 students mentored in Alliance Club are already working in ministries and banking sectors across India.”
Achievers' Testimonials
Among those honored, Aman Kumar, who was shortlisted for six jobs, chose the post of assistant manager at Bihar Gramin Bank. “The schedule of classes is similar to the timings of real-life jobs, which mentally prepares us even better,” he said, adding he secured the placement after two and a half years and advising others to “keep patience and be consistent.”
Ruchi Ojha said, “Alliance Club has provided a good environment which nurtures us.” Mithun Kumar added, “Exam marks are inconsistent, which makes us feel very demotivated. The mentors help us keep patience and, through one-on-one interaction, they help us work on each of our weak points.”
