A meeting between the Jaipur Vyapar Mahasangh and the vigilance deputy commissioner (DC) of Jaipur Municipal Corporation (JMC) was held on Friday to address critical issues related to encroachments and sanitation in city markets.
Encroachments Disrupting Traffic
During the discussions, traders emphasized that temporary encroachments on roads were causing significant disruption to traffic flow. This made it challenging for customers to access market areas, ultimately affecting business operations. In response, the vigilance DC assured that encroachments would be removed in a phased manner to ease congestion and improve movement across busy commercial zones.
Sanitation Concerns Raised
Sanitation was another major topic of discussion. Traders expressed concerns over cleanliness in several market areas. The JMC pledged full cooperation in enhancing sanitation services. The vigilance DC stated that issues under the municipal corporation's purview would be addressed systematically, with efforts to minimize inconvenience for traders.
The Jaipur Vyapar Mahasangh also extended its support to the JMC in removing encroachments and improving cleanliness. Both parties agreed to work collaboratively to streamline market conditions and ensure smoother functioning of commercial areas.
