Kurukshetra Police Janta Darbars for Faster Grievance Redressal

In a bid to enhance police-public coordination and ensure swift response to public complaints, the Kurukshetra Superintendent of Police (SP) has decided to organize Janta Darbars at the police station level. This initiative aims to provide a direct platform for residents to voice their concerns and seek immediate redressal.

Direct Interaction with SP

During these Janta Darbars, citizens will have the opportunity to present their grievances directly to the SP. According to Kurukshetra police spokesperson Naresh Sagwal, people often feel more satisfied when they can directly communicate their issues to the senior officer. The SP has therefore decided to conduct these interactive sessions at individual police stations for the convenience of the public.

On-the-Spot Resolution

All officers and staff of the concerned police station will be present during the Janta Darbar. This ensures that complaints are heard and resolved on the spot, eliminating delays. The primary objective is to take public issues seriously and ensure impartial action, Sagwal added.

Many complainants face difficulties in getting proper guidance and experience delays in the resolution of their problems. The station-level Janta Darbars will allow citizens to convey their concerns directly to police officials. A schedule for these darbars will be released soon, with the first session likely to be held next week.

Appeal to Public

SP Chander Mohan has appealed to the public to attend these Janta Darbars without any hesitation and present their grievances. He reiterated that the police are always ready to ensure public safety and provide assistance. Such programs will be organized regularly to strengthen law and order and enhance public trust in the police force. The Janta Darbars aim to resolve public grievances in a transparent and effective manner.
