The Madhubani district administration has imposed penalties on several revenue employees for failing to deliver services within the stipulated time frame under the Bihar Right to Public Services Act. Following directives from District Magistrate Anand Sharma, the district establishment section has issued orders for the recovery of penalties imposed on revenue staff from the Ghoghardih and Laukahi circle areas. The employees were penalised for delays and lapses in providing services to the public.
Employees Penalised
The erring employees facing action include Gauri Shankar Thakur, Vinod Jha, and Narendra Mahto. Circle officers of the respective areas have been directed to recover the penalty amounts from these employees without delay and submit a compliance report to the district administration within 24 hours.
DM's Emphasis on Timely Service
The District Magistrate stressed that providing time-bound and transparent services to citizens is the top priority of the administration. He stated, "No laxity or indifference will be tolerated." He underlined that the Bihar Right to Public Services Act aims to empower ordinary citizens by ensuring their entitlements are delivered promptly, and strict action will continue against any violations.

Officials have been asked to discharge their duties with responsibility and within the prescribed timelines, failing which stricter action will be taken in the future. The administration remains committed to enforcing accountability and ensuring that citizens receive their entitled services without unnecessary delays.
