A tragic accident occurred near Bhimanur village in Koppal taluk on Sunday morning, claiming the life of a 30-year-old man and leaving another seriously injured. The victims were traveling on a motorcycle when they collided with a tree that had fallen across the road due to heavy rain.

The deceased has been identified as Kiran Karabadagi, a resident of Kamanur village. The injured, Mahesh Hulli, has been shifted to the district hospital, where he is currently undergoing treatment. According to police reports, both individuals were on their way to work at a factory near Hosapete when the accident occurred.
Cause of the Crash
Due to the heavy rainfall, a tree had fallen onto the road, obstructing the path. The riders reportedly failed to notice the obstacle in time, leading to the fatal collision. The impact was so severe that Kiran died on the spot, while Mahesh sustained serious injuries.
