MCG recently decided to divide the city into eight administrative zones under two clusters, replacing the existing four-zone system that previously governed civic operations across the city. Commissioner Dahiya stated that the objective of the civic body is to provide better, transparent, and time-bound services to citizens. Through the new cluster and zone system, administrative efficiency will increase, accountability will be ensured, and monitoring of development and sanitation works will become more effective. All officers have been instructed to work with mutual coordination and meet the expectations of the citizens.
