The newly appointed chief executive officer of Hassan Zilla Panchayat, Shubham Shukla, has stated that his primary focus will be on addressing drinking water issues and fostering comprehensive development across the district. Shukla assumed charge at the ZP office on Thursday and emphasized that holistic progress would be ensured within the ZP's jurisdiction.
Coordination and Cooperation
Shukla expressed his commitment to working in close coordination with the district administration and all elected representatives. He stated, "I will strive to deliver effective results with everyone's cooperation." This collaborative approach is expected to streamline efforts and enhance the efficiency of developmental projects.
Addressing Water Crisis
Regarding the drinking water situation, Shukla noted that the government has already issued guidelines to deputy commissioners, ZP CEOs, and other officials. "Directions have been given to ensure there is no water crisis. We will hold discussions with all officers and take appropriate action," he said. The CEO added that resolving drinking water problems in every village across the district would be given top priority.
Shukla's tenure begins with a clear agenda to tackle one of the most pressing issues in rural areas—water scarcity. His proactive stance and emphasis on inter-departmental collaboration are expected to bring about meaningful changes in the district's infrastructure and quality of life.
