According to Yasin Tadvi, in-charge at the Thane regional disaster management cell, the car was parked adjacent to the mosque when flames were noticed. Firefighters arrived swiftly with one fire engine and a rescue vehicle. They managed to bring the blaze under control by 1:15 am, preventing it from spreading to nearby structures. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
