According to Delhi Fire Services officials, no injuries or casualties were reported in the incident. Five fire tenders were rushed to the spot after the fire was reported at around 1:05 pm. Officials stated that the blaze was brought under control within 15 minutes of the alert.

On Monday, another fire incident was reported in the Chawri Bazar area of Delhi. According to the Fire Station at Connaught Place, a call regarding the incident was received at around 7:21 pm on Sunday, after which firefighting teams were immediately dispatched to the location.
