A large tree fell on the elevated nature trail walkway at Malabar Hill in south Mumbai on Friday morning, prompting authorities to temporarily shut the popular walking route as a precautionary measure, officials said. The walkway was reopened the same evening.
No Injuries Reported
Nobody was injured in the incident, but some portion of the walkway suffered damage, they said.

Following the incident, teams from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s garden department and the hydraulic engineer’s department reached the spot and immediately began work to remove the collapsed tree and clear the area, a civic official said.
