In a tragic incident on Monday evening, two bike riders were burnt alive after an 11,000 kV electric wire snapped and fell on them on Dhalogala Road in Dhiroda, under the Tahla police station area in Alwar district. The bike was also completely reduced to ashes.

Details of the Incident

According to information received, the two individuals were traveling on a motorcycle on Dalogala Road in Dhiroda when a high-voltage electricity line wire suddenly snapped and fell onto the road. Both riders came into contact with the live wire, sustaining severe burns, and died on the spot.

A large number of villagers gathered at the scene. Upon receiving information, the Tahla Station House Officer arrived with police personnel and assessed the situation. The bodies were transported to the Tahla health centre.

Identification of the Deceased

The deceased have been identified as Moolchand, aged 55, and Ramesh, aged 52. The bodies will be handed over to the families after post-mortem, which is scheduled for Tuesday morning.

This incident highlights the dangers posed by aging electrical infrastructure. Authorities are urged to conduct regular inspections and maintenance to prevent such tragedies.
